VR Project: Iron Man VR

What better way to work on several different concepts at once than by building a game? I built Iron Man VR by combining several integrations from my past projects. I developed a palm-direction-based thrust system for flight, which makes use of a constantly shifting vignette (circular shadow) around the user’s eyesight which greatly decreases levels of VR sickness, even in those who tend to be more prone to it than others. I developed basic enemy AI that allowed them to find and follow a target in 3D space, as well as correct their orientation and course when needed, as well as a system that allows the user to interact with and use the pieces from the enemy robots upon destruction. Finally, some special effects for the hand repulsors, and a chest-mounted cannon that also drives the user backwards based off of the amount of force. It was incredibly fun to make, and even more fun to play.

Huge update to my Iron Man VR project! #madewithunity Additions: Repulsors (hand blasters). A chest-mounted Uni-beam. More responsive flight controls. Upgrad...
